Fire Protection Association Australia to hold more Bushfire Attack Level Short Courses

The Fire Protection Association (FPA) Australia have recently announced they will hold a new round of Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Short Courses in Western Australia from this April to July. The 5 day short course provides participants with the required skills, knowledge and ability to determine a Bushfire Attack Level and provide advice on the required construction provisions.

The course dates in 2016 are as follows:

  • Perth: 18 – 22 April 2016 (limited places)
  • Broome: 9 – 13 May 2016 (subject to interest)
  • Perth: 23 – 25 May 2016 and 30 – 31 May 2016
  • Perth: 18 – 22 July 2016

The course is perfect for those wishing to become accredited bushfire practitioners. The course is tailored to building, planning, environmental and fire safety professionals, including bushfire consultants, town planners, building surveyors and ecological and environmental consultants. However, anyone with an interest in bushfire planning generally is welcome and encouraged to attend.
